Dick held an online Gotham Villains and Anti-Heroes Poll and Dead Poet came out on top, over Red Hood. Jason is an actual Gotham crime boss, but his crowdfunded villainsona is more popular. No he's not salty about it at all.

Tim would arrange Wayne Enterprises to donate to local libraries after allegedly being threatened by the heinous villain Dead Poet. (Jason did ask Tim to do that but not like that)

Cass tweeted out Jason's favourite books as the villain Dead Poets reading list telling people to avoid them 'wink wonk', causing a massive uptick in the sale of those books ala Bigolas Dickolas.

Hey, so I made this account because I thought it was the best place to reach you for this. I was able to attend EVO2024 and got to talk with a lot of the devs for 2XKO. I thought you'd like some of the insights I found based on your latest Braum trailer reaction.

When asked about the more pastel style for the new beach background, they said they were experimenting with slightly different styles for Bgs and seeing what fits (they also mentioned how the map felt like a breath of fresh air given how little moving parts there were in comparison to the others). They actually have a whole post-processing system in place for backgrounds to quickly adjust color values, shadows, and lights in case visual noise does become a concern.

You were also spot on with the difference in facial bone density between Braum and the other more serious characters like Darius or Illaoi. Braum was specifically modeled for that expressive animation fitting for a strongman.

Interestingly, a lot of the LOR elements from Braum's kit were actually a necessity in redesigning his move-set for a fighting game. Designers needed to come up with new ideas to fill in certain gaps in his playstyle, and looked to LOR and other media for inspiration. This feels a lot more natural then Riot forcing the homogenization of the leauge universes which I do not think was a factor in creating Braum afaik.

A final thing I'd like to add is there are actually very few animators working on the project (around 3-4). Since 4-5 champs are constantly being worked on at the same time, animators are constantly jumping from champ to champ as bits and pieces of each character's kits get finalized-- which I thought was a very cool pipeline structure.

The beginning of this reason already revealed which Pro Heroes Wives will be featured which is the reason why it has been a hot topic. There are some Pro Heroes who have kept their spouses out of their social media for numerous reasons. The Number 3 Pro Hero Shoto was one of them who kept the identity of their spouse under wraps. There were only a few people who knew about you being his spouse through private events such as parties 

This week's episode was about the reveal of who was Pro Hero Shoto’s spouse causing fans to talk about the reveal. The mystery of who was able to capture the Heartthrob Hero. You had lost one of the challenges and had to give a clue of whom you were married to which was a reference at the very beginning of his journey of becoming a hero. He has now already changed that part of his costume to get rid of the name from children.

The culprit who ended up tweeting who it was referencing was a young child back then during the provisional exam for Pro Hero Shoto and Pro Hero Dynamite to get their licenses. The culprit is now working an apprenticeship at The Pro Hero Shoto agency. They had accidentally used their official account instead of their private account.

The Pro Hero Chargebolt official account liked the tweet which is how it was blown up in a matter of hours. Fans search through the internet making connections to confirm it. There are a small number of pictures posted on social media of the two of you showing any sort of intimacy. The evidence of the five weenies was indeed Shoto that was dug up through the Pro Hero Chargebolt at the beginning of his account during his time at U.A High School. There was also a clip of an old interview with Shoto saying that same thing. 

Overnight, the five weenies became a meme against the Pro Hero will, something he has tried to prevent from happening by changing that part of his costume. 

Overall the Pro Hero confirms his fan's theories by posting a few pictures of the two of you kissing each other and a super old picture of his younger self kissing your cheek with a bewildered face. The two of you were huddled underneath a blanket on a couch with the sunset in the background.

At TikTok, The Pro Hero Pinky posts a collaboration of the two of you being cute in private events including clips of the pro hero having a smile while looking at you with so much adoration and love regardless of the setting.

❀ notes: So recently I raised my adventure rank to 16 (I'm at 17 now) and people can now join my world. I main Aether while she mains Venti so most of the time we're in Monstadt we would chill together at good hunter which looked like a dinner date. The brain rot immediately hit my head on how the sagau characters would be like with this so here I am writing about it.

Envy. That was all he felt as he watches the impostor skipping beside you as you possess Aether. The worst part is he couldn't do anything, no matter what he did the arrows would never be able to hit the other Venti. It was like the winds were obeying the other Venti's orders, making sure it never hit the impostor which infuriated him even more. And he can't just run toward the other and strangle them either because his body would suddenly freeze up and force him to stand in a singular place when the both of you are close. When you and the other Venti are not in his peripheral vision he would be able to move again.

His knuckles turn white as he clenches his bow with strength that is enough to snap it into two. You and the impostor are currently in good hunter sitting across each other on a table, the impostor's voice sounded different from his (which was expected since it wasn't the original anyway) but you didn't seem to notice, or at least didn't care about its voice. He hid behind one of the houses as he stalked on the both of you, his pupils dilating as he watches the other Venti feed you radish stew.

'It should've been me' his breathing became more shallow 'it should've been me' his bow snapped into two before disintegrating into dust and manifesting on his back in pristine condition. His nails dig into the flesh of his palm causing it to bleed, his blood starts to form a puddle next to his foot as he continues to watch the two of you laughing and smiling together. While it shows it was Aether smiling and laughing he knows that Aether is under the influence of your emotions. Meaning if Aether is happy, so are you.

He wishes he could just run up to the impostor and rip off its vocal cords so it may never be able to laugh alongside you. He wanted to pummel its face until it was unrecognizable to anyone seeing its corpse. Its face was never it's own anyway, from what he remembers he was the one who made the promise to take the form of his friend. Not that thing.

When he saw you and "Venti" walking together while talking he was in shock. How was Venti able to talk to you so normally without him being stuck in one place? Did he find a way to break the code? How? He was going to rush towards the both of you before he found himself slowly freezing and shifting to his idle stance. "Damn it" he thought, Venti better tell him how he broke through the code or he's gonna riot-

What he discovered next shocked him before he felt an inkling of fear inside of him. He saw another Venti, but this one seem to be in a trance of anger and jealousy. The blood on his palms stained his fingers and created a puddle below the ground, but he didn't seem to mind as all of his attention was on the Venti spending time with your host Aether. If Venti was over there then....who is the one talking to you?

When the two of you passed by Diluc he stalked from afar to observe you and "Venti" fighting slimes and exterminating hilichurl camps. While observing he imagines the one fighting beside you was him, slashing any enemy going too close to you and saving you when your health bar goes low. Sadly, dreams are just dreams, and somehow this thing was the one doing what he wants. He freezes when "Venti" suddenly shifted to Kaeya when a pyro slime was approaching the both of you.

The sight of his brother fighting alongside you...he feels his scowl deepen. Was it mocking him? It must have known he was stalking the both of you, why else would it shift to Kaeya conveniently after Diluc was done daydreaming of fighting with you? He couldn't stand the sight of Kaeya being with you and quietly left back to Monstadt. He seems to be more focused on serving the visitors of Angels Share because he was ignoring anything and everything that wasn't related to his work. he didn't even bat an eye at Venti who was sobbing about an impostor stealing you away, chugging a bottle of wine while slurring out words of heartbreak and woe.

When I say devastated, I'm not exaggerating.

When we started these I literally said 'these have to be perfect because if they're not, the fandom will riot'

And I was right.

Rightfully so, of course. This set was expensive. International buyers especially because they had to pay so much more in shipping. I don't blame them.

When I made the joke post about Andrew being listed as a backliner, that was the only issue I was aware of and on my AFTG Twitter timeline people were joking about how mad he'd be and I posted it thinking it'd ease any tension. When we announced the series I was posting in the same manner and bantering with people about the series, and thought this would be the same. I wouldn't have posted it if I'd known how many other issues there were. Either way I was wrong and the guilt I feel over making this situation worse is eating me alive.

I created content for this fandom for years. I've made incredibly close friends. It saved me in a lot of ways. The love I have for those people and these books and Nora is soul deep, and I wanted to badly to give something back to the fandom that gives me so much joy. To think people think there was no care or thought put into these is soul crushing. I understand not everyone will like them. That's just the business. But we worked alongside Nora to try our best to bring really beautiful editions for people, including checking in with my AFTG circle to get opinions on design.

I'm so incredibly sorry. I'm so sorry for the post that was insensitive about the whole thing. I'm sorry for the mistakes. I'm sorry these were less than perfect. I'm sorry people who haven't even gotten their books yet are already disappointed in them. I'm not trying to make excuses here. There are none. You know, I actually think that the memes and the quotes are sort of a natural extension of our political views. I'll explain but it might get a little long. Stay with me here.

Firstly, I want to say that I think this way of perceiving politics is so fundamentally wrong.

"Anti-BJP", "Pro-BJP", "Anti-Congress", "pro-congress" etc etc. This isn't a cricket match where you're rooting for your favourite team. Politicians, as a general rule, are a bunch of liars. They lie to gain power and control. It's OUR duty, as CITIZENS, to keep them accountable and in their lane so they actually do their goddamn jobs. That's how the democracy is supposed to work. If they don't do their job properly, you vote them out of the seat. They work for us, and not the other way around.

In India, we grow up with this idea of not questioning your elders. Papa ne keh diya, bas keh diya. As children our natural instinct of curiosity and inquisitiveness is stifled. We go to schools and the same pattern follows. Don't question the authority. Keep your head down and colour inside the lines. We internalise this lesson to colossal degrees. Is it any wonder that we all struggle with critical thinking? If you're spoonfed "the correct answer" your entire life, you never learn to find if what you were told is correct or not. This exact thing is used by all politicians across the entire political spectrum. They use our learned behaviour of deferring to authority and never questioning power against us. The leader of the country becomes the patriarch. Papa ne keh diya, bas keh diya.

I have various issues with various political parties in India, in fact. I have no love lost for any of them. I don't exactly believe in unconditional loyalty to politicians.

Since you brought up the BJP, let's talk about that. My biggest issue with them is their politics of communal hatred. All they keep yapping about is hindu-muslim this and hindu-muslim that. For what? They could spend their time talking about actual issues but the low-hanging fruit of stoking communal hatred is easier to grab onto. Remember when the British did the same thing? It was bad then and it's bad now. All this unrest just to get votes. Imagine fucking up the mind of an entire nation like this and then demanding to be praised for it.

Their foundational roots are from the RSS and that entire organisation's existence is just insane to me. It's even more insane that they managed to go from a fringe ideology to becoming mainstream. "Hindu rashtra", it seems. Who even wants that? WHY do they want that? Is it such a bad fate to live in peace and harmony with other religions? A lot of their talking points are about how much they hate the islamic nations and how those are horrible and then they want to turn around and do the same thing?!? Is the hypocrisy not clear? So what if other countries are religious states? Why can't we try to be different? Maybe I'M the stupid one for thinking all humans are the same that we should treat everyone the same. Who knows.

There are also a bunch of other issues that the BJP has racked up during their rule. The demonetisation disaster, mismanagement of government funds to create public infrastructure, letting the interests of billionaire business ruin PROTECTED FOREST AREAS for mining coal that they didn't even need, introducing and passing HORRIBLE bills through the parliament without any thought or discussion, literally ignoring the plight of people dying in riots, CORRUPTION, destroying the public sector and letting for-profit capitalists free reign in a country which has practically no proper labour laws, aiding in creating a historical record of INCOME INEQUALITY that is higher than it was during the fucking colonial era, fucking up the press even more somehow to the point where they control all of the media houses.

This is not even scratching the surface. I could keep going.

My issue is not whether people vote for the BJP or not. Even if you like the BJP, my issue is that people seem willing to turn a blind eye to all the issues with the government and not even hold them accountable for it.

Vote for whoever you want. My only request is to keep your government accountable. Keep the power in check. The politicians should be SCARED of the citizens fury if they do something wrong. They shouldn't be free to do whatever and get off scot free.

That's our political stance, really. It's Pro-Exercise-Your-Democratic-Rights-As-Citizen.

We will always encourage others to be wary of people with too much power.

Now coming back to why I said the memes reflect our political stance, it's because it's obvious to see why we happen to be willing to risk being a little critical of a literary text. You have to be a little transgressive, in a sense. Perfect obedience and perfect reverence stifles people from engaging with something to their full potential.

Humans are weird: Civil Unrest

History books often talk about important events through the eyes of those with hindsight. Written in ways that make readers question how the people who actually lived through the events themselves ask how they could not have seen it coming from a mile away.

Yet for those who lived through such trying times the sequence of events were never so neat and orderly as “Point A” and “Point B”. They came on like a silent wave that could not be heard until it crashed against the foundation of society and tore everything it struck down into the dirt.

One such point of history was the day the Pentarki people experienced their first case of civil unrest.

For context in Pentarki society when a judicial ruling is handed down it could not be altered. There were no challenges, no reviews of inquiry, or appeal process to a higher form of political body for a different ruling. The end result was set in stone and there would be no argument. While strange to other space traveling societies who had several checks and balances for Pentarki it made complete sense.

To obtain a position in the judicial branches of society a Pentarki needed to be highly intelligent, well versed in social laws and history, and have some aspect of a moral code. It was through these foundation blocks that a near incorruptible governing body was created to hand out rulings for criminal cases.

The Pentarki had spent generations under this type of organization and whole heartedly believed that the process was secure; never questioning a ruling or lashing out in outrage.

That was until the day humans began migrating to their world.

Being one of the most adaptable species in the known universe, humans had a knack for setting up shop on just about any planet they came into contact with. On the Pentarki homeworld they found that despite the lethal levels of gases encircling the planet it was on average warmer than any other planet resulting in a steady stream of humans in search of said warmth.

Humans in contrast to Pentarki’s had a very different perspective of organized governing. They believed that laws and people could make mistakes and if needed, could be altered to reflect the current nature of the times. This alone was enough to ensure the Pentarki avoided dealings with humans as much as possible; at least until the “Night of ten thousand Fists.”

In a standard ruling, the governing body decided in the case of a little Pentarki child getting injured by a Pentarki enforcement officer that the officer was not at fault. Situations like this were rare but not unheard of and the enforcement officers were almost never marked for fault. While the Pentarki people had expected as much, they had not taken into account the overly passionate nature of the new human citizens who had moved to the planet.

Within hours of the ruling there were large scale protests in the streets, primarily composed of humans. They held signs and chanted dissenting slogans against the governing body that made the ruling. Enforcement officers were dispatched to try and contain the protests, but their presence only seemed to further enflamed the protestor’s anger. Pentarki enforcement officers were not trained for this type of civil disturbance as protests were all but unheard of in their culture. In an attempt to disperse the crowd the officers attempted to arrest the ringleaders who were using megaphones to rile the crowds. This backfired as the humans became further violent and began attacking the enforcers. They swarmed them from all sides and the officers were quickly consumed by a tide of human bodies.

From there things devolved rapidly as the protests turned into full blown riots. Any symbol of authority was defaced or destroyed while enforcing officers were targeted on site. at around 12PM Donald Trump began to speak to his supporters near the White House.

at 1PM the outer police barrier was broken into.

"We're going to the Capitol," he says. "We're going to try and give them [Republicans] the kind of pride and boldness that they need to take back our country."

3. around 2PM protestors have now broken windows and entered the capital.

4. between 3PM-4PM the protestors are banging on doors, destroying property, and have broken into the chamber.

How to fight back as a minor. (especially after this election)

Graffiti. I am being so real when I tell you spray paint, paint, chalk, posters, etc. helps. It shows we're angry, it shows we aren't done, and it gives the others around us the hope they need to keep fighting as well.

Be loud. Those kids harassing you for being queer at school? Yell. Snitch. Let everyone know what assholes they're being. Curse out your conservative neighbor or uncle the next time they say something shitty. Scream at them, fight back, you need to be angry. Scream.

Movements. This is hard, especially for minors, but organize school walk-outs, participate in work strikes, encourage adults and kids like you. Go to riots and rallies, (If you can of course). Stand on the side of the road with signs??? Anything you do can show us being strong.

Promote. You may not be able to do too much, but adults can. Spread on your account and real life, "We need a recount, here's why." Everything you can do, information about our candidates, spread the news.

Be a Part of the Process Find out if you can work at the polls on Election Day—many states allow 16- and 17-year-olds to do it! Work with a local organization that is registering others to vote

The offspring of rock through synthecism

Hey everyone ! This week's post will be using both the content of the chapters of Identities and Politics from the Negus. Today I'll be portraying one of the artist I hold high regards to, Delilah Bon, a genius feminist synthecist, an iconic artist combining many genres of music to scream at the top of her lungs pointing out injustices done to minorities. To begin with, her anger fuels the methodically well planned patch-up of genres she represents through her music. By alternating between different ways of expresseing herself such as screaming, singing and rapping she creates a unique worldview that she constructed a well-defined around. Both her beliefs and values, what she stands for defined, her music and audience and I do believe that this is genuinely what I admire about her. Delilah Bon is more than a niche artist but a rising star as a synthecist due to her will to articulate to her audience and create a safe environment in which many are able to be who they are no matter their past experiences, a place where chaos, inner thoughts and rage against the system is freely expressed without any restriction. Her audience is mostly, if not entirely made of people part of the LGBTQ+ community and her shows became gradually a place where everyone could be themselves and be outrageously honest, this is more than a cis white male rapper's show.. Delilah Bon is an embodiment of freedom and she sparks hope, defiance and pride in the heart of people who gathered to hear her tear and scream the statu quo through her songs. Then especially considering how much she is against the patriarchy, the genre of her music, if this could ever be defined, is an off-spring of the geographic mobility of rock. A merging of cultures, values and well-needed honesty about contemporanean politics, their impacts on the people and thus the rage felt, takes over her shows. Would this be worth of defining her music as part of the Riot Grrrrl underground rock ? Indeed, her rock seeks to abolish and challenge the traditional and patriarchal oppression by reclaiming many concepts and ridiculing what is perceived as taboo by the male gaze but also breaks apart social issues that could be swept under the rug for many. Yet her dynamic and poignant analysis of social cases like Roe Vs Wade in the USA is really what brings out the cultural elements under circumstances directly encountered, not chosen by themselves. Her interpretation of rock as a genre allows to close the gap between artist and audience, one voice for a common rage, one person embodying the unheard, someone standing on the same ground as anyone else, someone of the people FOR the people. It is essential to my analysis to take into account that she is an indie artist, creating everything by herself, no one else helps her expect when it comes to the direct creation of her songs except when she's touring and plays with her band, yet she masterfully appropriates herself different genres, ideologies and still manage to craft such professional and outstanding music IF perceived through the Music Industry. I do believe that this is the work of a cultural catalyst that with dexterity challenges the system through mediation of cultural and symbolical values. Delilah Bon is a sincere and earnest artist with no doubt. The circumstances of her works are not only dialogues with the past but the present and future themselves and having no clear boundaries around the topics of her dialogue mediated through her core beliefs is really what makes her shine in all her glory. To emphasize my point, I will add that the community which gathered to hear her play at shows is the literal manifestation of intersection through others, thus creating a synthecism not only of her works but also a sense of unity in a newfound community which shared parts of her values; only to be united together under a new and flamboyant banner ! I'll link here one of her songs and a video of a show so that you may have a better understanding of what I'm talking about !

I wanted to put the song cleanly recorded instead of the show, but I think the cover of it might be too explicit for this class so I let you go look it up if you doubted her active feminism (which i do find quite empowering) and I think a live show might be exactly is needed to embody my analysis made on this week's post !
